Usher’s step son from ex-wife, Tameka Foster, Kyle Glover has died after being involved in an accident that rendered him brain-dead for over a week.
Kyle Glover, 11, was involved in a jet ski accident on Georgia Lake as he was riding with a family friend whose situation has not yet been established.
Kyle was riding with 15-year-old family friend when a water craft which was being ridden by a family friend crashed into them injuring both teenagers gravely.
Kyle was air lifted to a children’s hospital Children’s Healthcare at Egleston in Atlanta and was put on life support. After heart failure Saturday 21st July 2012, Kile passed on.
Jeffrey Hubbard, 38, was driving the watercraft, but after investigations, it was concluded that alcohol was not involved in the incident.
Kyle’s mother, Tameka Foster was married to RnB singer, Usher Raymond for two years after their divorce in 2009. They have two children aged three and four. Kyle’s father, Ryan Glover is the president of Bounce TV, a fledgling television network targeting African-American audiences – he is also a former executive with Turner Broadcasting, the parent company of Cnn.
Usher has received Twitter messages of condolences from friends like Toni Braxton, who wrote, “My heart and prayers are with Tameka [and] Usher and their families. I’m sorry for your loss, I’m here for both of you. From my family to yours”. Justin Bieber wrote, “Rip Kyle”, while Russell Simmons wrote “I am sending out every prayer I got to Tameka, Ryan, Usher and their family”.
