The last eviction show of Tusker project fame 5 saw Kenya’s Steve see the back door of the academy.
The last eviction show took place Saturday and it was different from the rest as the eviction was determined by the number of votes by the audience. Steve was the least voted for among the five contestants who had remained in the Tusker academy which saw him leave just a day before the closure of the show.
Performing his original composition, I’ll be There, Steve’s performance was not as powering as his previous performances in the academy.
During the show, last year’s Tusker Project Fame winner, Davis from Uganda performed as he did his dance strokes which saw him emerge a winner last year during Tusker Project Fame 4.
Steve’s eviction did not come as a surprise as he was one of the least powerful performers remaining in the academy. “I am happy and proud of my self that I have reached this far,” Steve said after being announced as the one leaving the academy.
He did his last performance, Coming Home to which he received a lot of cheers from the audience.
Kenya’s Ruth Matete emerged as the winner of Tusker Project Fame 5 followed by Doreen who made it as the first runner-up, Jackson as second runner-up and Joe and third runner-up.
