London Olympic 2012 opening ceremony  will kick off at 9:00pm London Time.Millions people will enjoy it all over the world from TV set or in online live stream.

The Queen of England will officially declare the games open, but before that, names such as James Bond, Paul McCartney and Mary Poppins will dazzle the crowd.

The theme of the night is “Isle of Wonders,” a name drop from English playwright William Shakespeare.

According to Lawless, the Queen and Daniel Craig, dressed as his 007 secret agent counterpart, will perform a pre-recorded sketch from Buckingham Place. From there, a parachuter (dressed also as 007) will drop down to help kick off the show.

Meanwhile the Olympic Torch relay enters its final day in London.  The torch was taken to famous landmarks yesterday, after 8 000 people had carried it through the UK and Ireland for the past 70 days.

The Olympic flame was carried to St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Tate Modern Art Gallery and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre – on the last full day of the torch relay. It went to Downing Street before entering the grounds of Buckingham Palace.

The relay culminated in a concert in Hyde Park, before it was taken to the Olympic Park for the official opening ceremony today.
