Last month National Resistance Movement Party lost  a seat to Forum for Democratic Change  member, Odo Tayebwa defeated NRM’s Nasser Basajjabalaba.It had earlier lost the Jinja East seat in a by-election. NRM’s Nathan Igeme Nabeta lost to FDC’s Paul Mwiru .

NRM  also lost the Luweero woman MP seat; Entebbe Municipality seat , Jinja woman MP and now Bukoto South which is now its seventh seat lost.

Yesterday DP’s Mathias Nsubuga trounced NRM’s Alintuma Nsambu by 1,400 votes in a by-election.Nsubuga got 11,800 while Nsambu got 10,427 votes.

NRM recently party laid down factors that have made the ruling party to loose almost all the recent by- elections.Among the factors  the factors the party identified was  infighting within the party, poor service delivery, poor monitoring mechanism among others.

Even though the party has been mending the differences to restore the party’s strength ,it has lost once again.What could be the problem?
