The national resistance movement (NRM) is set to build the party house (movement house) which will be the tallest building in Uganda with 27 stories and will cost them 30 billion shillings.
According to our source that attended the fundraising ceremony held at Serena hotel yesterday, NRM members of parliament together with the party business tycoons in Kampala and the district chairpersons agreed to construct the party house like UPC’s Uganda House.
The source said that the Movement house of 27 stories will be constructed between Hannington road, Sheraton and Celement Road in Kampala.
The source added that during the meeting ,the party collected 4.5 billion shillings from both pledges and hard cash.
Among the members who contributed /pledged to the movement house include,

Those who pledged were given the party account in names of Mubende27Feb 1984 in Housing Finance bank where the chairman of the party president Museveni already deposited 2billion shillings for the beginning.
Our source also told us that the movement house will be having the party headquarters, shopping malls, public offices, Hotel and recreation centre.
