Rodney had been freed from jail after his sentence expired but he refused to leave. He was later on re-arrested and charged with trespassing on the prison property.
Rodney was arrested at Rockingham County jail and was released Saturday morning after being behind bars since May 22. According to the sheriff’s office, the free Rodney asked them to drive him to a local motel and they refused.
By Saturday afternoon, he had not yet left and deputies charged him with second-degree trespassing.
The incident occurred in North Carolina.
He’s being held on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 9. It was not clear if he has a lawyer.
