Candidates competing for Makerere University Vice chancellor post are to hold public campaigns next week according to the sources on the search committee.
The presentations will be made in the university’s main hall on Monday next week.
The search committee appointed to interview and vet candidates is expected to use these presentations as part of the interviews which will help to sieve out the best five candidates.
The names of the candidates selected will be forwarded to the University Senate in two weeks after the public campaigns.
From the five names sent to the Senate will then forward three names to the council for the selection of the vice-chancellor.
The presentations will be the last phase of three-stage interviewing process, which kicked off on Monday. The seven aspirants were first subjected to internal assessments, which involved an examination of their academic papers.
