Steve Crecelius a father six children discovered that he is a woman after 25 years of marriage.

Steve Crecelius  now Stevie Crecelius  went into a Denver hospital  in Colorado five years ago for a kidney stone but when  ultrasound results came back, a lab technician told him “You’re female.”

Doctors discovered that Steve Crecelius  is intersex — born with a mix of anatomical sex traits meaning Crecelius  cannot be classified as either male or female.

Steve decided to begin living as Stevie — as a woman Stevie Crecelius ,Debbie Crecelius, Stevie’s wife, said it took some time to get used to the change.She says the great challenge  was explaining the decision to her children.

“I didn’t sign on for this, but who signs on for anything?” she told Fox 31. “She’s the same person she was as a he on the inside.”

“When I was 17, I was working my first part-time job at a TV station as a floor cameraman and the person in charge said to me, ‘You know, you walk like a queer,” Crecelius told a local TV station “I thought I was hiding who I was, and I wasn’t.”

Crecelius  is currently taking female hormone.Steve Crecelius’s children were shocked but have accepted their father as he is.
