Mariano Rajoy Spanish Prime Minister

Spanish Premier Mariano Rajoy has been invited to Uganda to be enlightened about the developments going on in the country.

Mariano Rajoy while in negotiations  for 100 billion pounds bail out for Spain’s  banking sector sent a message to his Finance Minister, Luis De Guindos .The messages Mariano sent reads “Resist, we are the 4th Power in the EZ (Euro Zone). Spain is not Uganda”.

The message aroused anger among Ugandans who have  so far read it .Uganda’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Henry Okello Oryem has described the message as  hangovers of the colonial days  that some people in Europe still harbor.

He has invited him to visit Uganda to see for himself how much Uganda has developed.

“Mr. Mariano is ignorant about the developments Uganda has registered since independence from colonialists.”Oryem said
