By Sandra Birungi

Idrigi Patrick, commonly known as Salvador has landed himself a deal after the boss of Crackers decided he will be flying to Lagos for monthly shows beginning with October.

The comedy shows will be broadcasted on air on 2 TV stations. The excited comedian refused to comment about it despite the fact that happiness was radiating from his face.

Salvador’s fame shot up after he represented Uganda at the Nite of 1, 000 Laughs in Kenya, Nairobi and represented it well. After the show, he managed to convince the organizers to do a show in Uganda and they did.

The recently concluded Nite of a 1,000 Laughs which was held at Imperial Royale in Kampala managed to bring together comedians from all over Africa and was a huge success as the ribs of the attendants cracked up with jokes from Klint the Drunk from Nigeria, Mandy from Ghana, Eric Omodi from Kenya, Idrigi from Uganda, among others.

It seems Uganda’s fame is kicking into high gear but more so Africa’s.

Good luck Salvador!
