President Museveni during the meeting with Busoga region MPs held at president residential home in Rwakitura yesterday pledged to give 80m shillings to Bugosa Kingdom to help them in the exercise of reviewing the kingdom constitution.

The Busoga Kingdom is looking for sh600 million to review their constitution.

According to the source that attended the meeting in Rwakitura President Museveni pledged to give the kingdom 80 million shillings and the entire region legislator also pledged to contribute 6.4 million shillings for the exercise .

The source said that  Busoga Kingdom lawyers asked for 600 million shillings to do the exercise of reviewing the kingdom constitution  which includes moving from village to village to collect people’s views and re-allocation of the kingdom properties.

The source also revealed that Busoga region MPs while in a meeting backed the chief of Gabula prince, Gabula Nadiope William to be the next Kabazinga of Busoga.
