Mario Gomez scored two goals which gave Germany a 2-1 win over the Netherlands in the Euro 2012 championship.
Gomez Scored the two goals in the first half and these goals took Germany a big step towards the Euro 2012 quarter-finals.
Germany has six points from two wins but is still not sure of advancing from Group B, where three teams could end up with six points. Earlier, Portugal beat Denmark 3-2.
Germany will play against Denmark on 17th June 2012 at 21:45 in Arena Lviv, Lviv while Netherlands will play against Portugal on June 17,2012 at 21:45 in Metalist Stadium, Kharkiv.
On the next match day (17 June):
Germany will advance to the quarter-finals if they do not lose to Denmark by 0–1 or 1–2 or by 2 goals or more OR Portugal do not defeat the Netherlands
Portugal will advance to the quarter-finals if they defeat the Netherlands and Denmark defeat Germany by 1–0 or 2–1 or at least 2 goals OR they do not lose to the Netherlands and Germany do not lose to Denmark OR they lose to the Netherlands by 1 goal and Germany defeat Denmark.
Denmark will advance to the quarter-finals if they defeat Germany OR they draw with Germany and the Netherlands defeat Portugal.
The Netherlands will advance to the quarter-finals if they defeat Portugal by at least 2 goals and Germany defeat Denmark.
