Germany is to take on Netherlands today afternoon. Though the two teams are at different positions a draw means a lot to Germany while Netherlands needs a win to stay in Euro 2012 competitions and get a chance of playing in group B finals otherwise a loss will see them out of the challenge.
Predictions have it that Germany might Kick out Netherlands like last year when it beat it 3:1
Looking at the way Germany and Netherlands play in their 1st match, we agree that they do not perform as well as they could. Germany had a stroke of luck when Mario Gomez did score the goal to see the Germans get three points on the board, he did very little otherwise.. The rest of their offense was not sharp and non-threatening. The Dutchman created dozen of chances, with 29 goal attempts, but not a single one went in. They had a much worse result as a moment of careless let Denmark grab a win.
If Netherlands continues to have trouble with the finishing, and Germany’s midfield playing stable and disciplined, chance is Germany will win the match is 90%.
Germany most likely lineup:
Jerome Boateng- Mats Hummels- Holger Badstuber- Philipp Lahm
Bastian Schweinsteiger/Toni Kroos- Sami Khedira
Thomas Mueller- Mesut Oezil- Lukas Podolski
Netherlands most likely lineup:
Van derWiel- Heitinga – Vlaar – Willems
Robben – Afellay
