In the just released examinations,Uganda National Examination Board has released a list of best performing schools in Uganda Certificate of Education for the year 2011.
Among the schools listed with best performers in the just released results include

4. St. Marys Kisubi
5. Uganda Martyrs Namugongo
6. Katabi Seminary
7. St Henry’s College Kitovu
8. St Mary’s Kitende
9. Kings College Buddo
10 Ntare School
11. St. Joseph’s Girlss, Nsambya
12.Bukalasa Minor Seminary
13.Maryhill H.S
14. Ndejje S.S
15. Trinity college Nabbingo
16. St. Josephs Naggalama
17. Kisubi Seminary
18. Nadiket Seminary, moroto
19 S. Joseph of Nazareth H/S
20. Seeta H/S
21. Nabisunsa Girls School
22. Mbarara High School
23. Naalya SSS Namugongo
24. Bweranyangi Girls School
25. Kibuli S.S
26. London College of St. Lawrence
The Ministry of education has confirmed that the selection of S.5 will be conducted between February 15 and 16.
The education ministry has already selected 600 schools to roll out free A’ level education countrywide.
These schools, according to the ministry’s permanent secretary, Francis-Xavier Lubanga, will partly accommodate 63,575 students.
In total, 74,246 S4 leavers will in the next academic year have a chance to access free education in schools and other institutions.
