Chadil Deffy maried his girlfriend ,Sarinya Kamsook at her funeral

True love manifested in ancient tales was manifested in Thailand when man decided to marry his dead girlfriend.

29-year old Sarinya Kamsook and her 28-year-old boyfriend, Chadil Deffy, were to be married this year.Sarinya Kamsook unfortunately died in a car crash, just day before the big event, Deffy decided to go on with their wedding as planned and married her. Odditycentral.com news reported

Sarinya was involved in a car crash, leaving her severely injured. She still could have been saved with timely medical attention. However, the doctors made her wait for 6 hours due to an overcrowded ICU instead of transferring her to another hospital. During this time, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away.

During her funeral in Surin, Thailand, Chadil Duffy placed a ring on his deceased bride’s finger. It thus turned out a wedding/funeral ceremony, one of the rare events in the world.

V producer Chadil Deffy (also known as Deff Yingyuen) wore a top hat and tuxedo as he slid the wedding ring onto ‘bride’ Ann Kamsuk’s finger at the grim ceremony.

Deffy kissed the forehead of his girlfriend’s corpse and placed a wedding ring on her finger. He hoped that her soul now rests in peace, having received her final wish, as a tribute to their immense love.

During the ceremony, he expressed his devotion and deep love for Sarinya. Several friends and relatives attended the wedding/funeral service. The event was even aired on national television in Thailand.

Never had the world witnessed someone marrying a dead person until this time.

And while some thought the service a bit strange, others expressed their sympathy for the groom.
