Rapper and mogul Jay Z is to launch his own version of lifestyle website just like singer, Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.

The site is a mixture of items about fashion, sports, style, music, leisure and technology.

The site is called Life + Times. There’s very little linking the site to the superstar rapper other than his partially obscured pic on the front page, snippets of his music over some of the video’s and a link titled “Jay’s” which as of Thursday contained only a lovely shot of a sunset (or maybe a sun rise as it’s hard to tell.)

Meanwhile, Will Smith and son, Jayden are set to feature in new movie together as father and son as they are in the real life.

The sci-fi movie will be set 1,000 years in the future, where an estranged father and son find themselves on a deserted planet Earth after their spaceship crashes. Acting out a parent-child dynamic will be old hat for the Smiths, and not simply because that’s their real relationship. (Will and Jaden previously co-starred in 2006′s “Pursuit of Happyness.”)

Jada Pinkett Smith (Will’s wife and Jaden’s mom), will serve as the producer. (Surely it’s just a matter of time before we hear that “21st Century Girl” Willow Smith will voice the soundtrack.)
